Euro-Med documented bodies confiscated from Al-Shifa and the Indonesian Hospital by Israeli forces.
Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor documented that Israeli forces confiscated bodies of Palestinians from Al-Shifa Hospital and the Indonesian Hospital in Gaza following military operations at those facilities.
These bodies were held by Israeli authorities and some were later returned to families. Euro-Med's documentation was filed with named dates and facilities.

Gaza medical professionals examined the returned bodies. They documented signs of missing organs. They stated they could not prove or disprove it with certainty.
Gaza medical professionals who examined bodies returned by Israeli forces documented signs consistent with removal of corneas, cochleas, kidneys, livers and hearts.
Those same professionals stated on record that they could not determine with certainty whether organs had been removed, or whether the findings reflected prior surgical procedures or battlefield conditions.
Their caveat is part of the documented record. Both the findings and the uncertainty are documented.

The specific organs whose absence was documented or suspected: corneas, cochleas, kidneys, livers and hearts.
Definitive forensic determination was impossible without full independent forensic investigation, controlled conditions and chain of custody. Those conditions have not existed because the investigation has not been permitted.

Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor called formally for an independent international forensic investigation into the findings on returned bodies.
Amnesty International called for investigation. The UN Special Rapporteur on the Right to Health issued communications to Israel on the documented reports.
No independent international forensic investigation has been permitted. Israel has not granted access to any named independent forensic body.

Three named bodies called for independent investigation: Euro-Med, Amnesty International, and the UN Special Rapporteur.
Israel has confirmed in the past that non-consensual organ removal occurred at Abu Kabir in the 1990s. Bodies of Palestinians have been held under Israeli law since 2021 without independent access.
The question the evidence raises is not whether it happened. The question is why the investigation that could establish what has happened since October 2023 has not been permitted.
