We don't publish open roles. We build a small circle, one conversation at a time.
UNSILENCED runs as a single team across a clothing line and a documentation platform. There's no listing to apply to and no fixed headcount to fill. If you're right for it, we'll work out where you fit together.
How we work
Two disciplines, one standard.
On the product side, that means sourcing, quality, and timelines handled with the care of a small maker, not the pace of fast fashion.
On the documentation side, it means primary sources only, no consensus language standing in for a fact we haven't confirmed, and nothing published before it's been checked.
"The team stays small on purpose. It's easier to hold a standard when everyone in the room actually holds it."
What this isn't
No job titles to apply against, the work defines the role, not the other way around.
No fixed org chart. People move where the work needs them.
No public listings. We build this circle by conversation, not by posting.
No filtered inbox. Every message is read by the team, not screened by a system.
Who tends to fit
A few things we've noticed.
Sourcing over opinion
You'd rather find the primary document than repeat what everyone already said about it.
Goes deep, not wide
We're not looking for generalists. We're looking for someone who can take one specific craft further than it's currently going.
Takes pride in the details
You do the work well because it matters to you, not because someone's checking.
Easy to build with
Straightforward, steady, and good to have around on a hard week, not just an easy one.
Comfortable without a title
You're fine starting a conversation before there's a defined role attached to it. We'd rather find the right person first and shape the work around them than write a description and hope someone matches it.
